(Ed. note: I usually try to avoid bold-face hate posts because they usually show a complete lack of knowledge, objectivity, and basic use of tact. However, when something as idiotic as Parnevik's comments presents itself, I'm willing to bend a bit.)
Define "tool".
Tool: (adjective) A person, typically male, who says or does things that cause you to give them a 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look. The 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look is classified by a glare in the tool's direction and is usually accompanied by muttering of how big of a tool they are. The tool is usually someone who is unwelcome but no one has the balls to tell them to get lost. The tool is always making comments that are out-of-place, out-of-line or just plain stupid. The tool is always trying too hard to fit in, and because of this, never will.

Yeah, I think that's pretty fitting for Mr. Parnevik.
I'm sure by now you've all heard the comments the irrelevant golfer had about Tiger Woods' indiscretions in his personal life. Apparently, because he introduced Woods' to Elin and he once employed her as his child's nanny, he has the moral authority to make obnoxious comments about the situation. Obviously the comments were solicited by a reporter, but for him to operate without any type of verbal filter is just plain stupid.
Since the moment police came out and announced there wouldn't be any charges in the Tiger Woods case other than a traffic ticket, I've been done with this story. Nothing that happens from that point forward could affect his golf game, at least nothing that could be proven, and therefore should not be reported on by sports outlets. However, ESPN and other sports reporting sites have gone from specializing in sports, to gossip outlets reminiscent of the E! Network. What separates this story from something like the Kobe Bryant situation a few years back is possibility of the situation actually affecting his game. Bryant's legal situation could have sidelined him from the sport, making it a story worth reporting for the sports media. Is Tiger going to be kept out of golf because he cheated on his wife? No, so all the family troubles have nothing to do with sports. Therefore, keep that trash off ESPN.
Anyway, back to Parnevik. Okay, so because Tiger cheated on his former nanny, he thinks it's right to talk about things he has actually has no clue about and make a "funny" comment about Elin hitting him with a "driver, instead of a 3-iron"? Guess what, it's not, and he comes off as a huge tool because of it. Despite all the information that has come out about this situation, we still don't, and probably never will, know the whole story. What truly happened in that relationship is between Tiger, Elin, the alleged other women, and God. Unless Parnevik has delusions that he is God, he should shut up. Just because he introduced the two to each other doesn't give him free range to make comments about things he donesn't know all the facts about. As for the domestic violence "joke", pardon me if I don't laugh at that. Hey I know, one the things I think I know about what happened was that she hit him...how about I make a joke about it. Yeah, that will make a great sound byte. Hilarious Jesper, especially because she did it to him, and not the other way around. Wife on husband or husband on wife, it doesn't matter; domestic violence isn't funny and shouldn't be treated as such in any situation. Would he have been laughing and making jokes if it was reported that Tiger hit Elin and not the other way around? You get one guess.
I've avoided writing about this whole situation simply because I don't believe it has any place in the sports media anymore. But when someone make stupid comments like Parnevik, it warrants a bit of a reprimand. What Tiger did was wrong, but what Jesper said about the situation wasn't any better. Anthony Kim had the right idea when he more or less said that the situation was between Tiger and his wife, and should be left as such.
But then again, Anthony Kim isn't a tool.
Read your article today while I was at work Keegs, best one I've seen and here's a possible reason why Jesper needs to get his ass beat, or you can just ask Lawrence Taylor (aka the real hall-of-fame LT), google 'Lawrence Taylor Tiger Woods' to find out why
